A note from the designer
The polo midi was the project — a placket and collar from the polo tradition, an A-line skirt from the tailored midi. The hard part was the proportion: where to sit the waist so the skirt falls right, where to place the three buttons so they read deliberate, not perfunctory. Three buttons landed it. The skirt opens with intention, not swing.
Construction
Fully lined. Concealed back zip. Three-button placket with gold-tone hardware. Removable tonal self-belt. Faced neckline. Clean interior seams.
