The mini wasn't the first instinct — most polished pieces live longer at midi length. But the box pleats wanted to flare with movement, and a mini gave them the room. The shoulder buttons are restraint: small, gold-tone, structural. They mark the shoulder line without breaking it. Black tweed carries the weight.
